Our landscape designs are driven by the desire to create ecosystems rather than gardens, using our designs to uphold conservation of energy, water, soil and biodiversity irrespective of scale and location of work. So you’ll find simple rainwater harvesting a part of many of our single residence projects. We also use native plants because it allows the landscapes we create to coexist with nature and not compete with it. Because native plants are adapted to local environmental conditions, they require far less water, saving time, money, and the most valuable natural resource, water in addition to providing vital habitat for birds and other species of wildlife. While creating ecologies on large swathes of land is exciting, we are equally intrigued and challenged with designing smaller gardens including those on balconies and roof tops because it gives us the chance to make a positive impact in dense urban areas – furthering our intent of creating balance and harmony.
